Type 4 swivel wheel with brake

For extra heavy-duty applications, we have the type 4 wheel: just as quiet as the type 3 wheel thanks to the rubber tread, but even easier to manoeuvre thanks to the smooth-running ball bearings and a considerable load-bearing capacity.

These wheels were developed for flight cases. Also very suitable for (rolling) containers, aluminium boxes and, for example, for use under equipment that is constantly being loaded and unloaded from trucks. This makes them ideal for trade fair construction, among other things, also because they do not leave marks on floors. These wheels are extremely durable, can take a beating and do not deform.

The rubber tread absorbs vibrations and allows moving without noise. This also makes the type 4 castors ideal for applications in retail and logistics.

We now also have the Type 4 castors with an integrated, functioning brake.  Please note that in order to use the castors under a Danish trolley, 4 spacers must be ordered as well. These provide sufficient space for the swivel castors to turn. This will raise the castors 30 mm.

Please note: even if you only use 1 swivel castor with a brake, 4 spacers must be used!
